Reflections on the Spirit Reflections are all around us: some are obvious and some are subtle. If we can’t see the object that is creating a reflection, the reflection takes on a life and beauty of its own and may leave us curious about what the reflected object may be. We may think we know what is creating the reflection, but in reality, we may be surprised. And even if it seems to perfectly reflect the object, the image is still altered in some way. In a mirror, for instance, the image is reversed. In a puddle, the image of a blade of grass is distorted if it’s muddy or if a raindrop falls. To me, this is similar to how external factors and our own internal sin alters God’s reflected image in us. No matter how brilliantly reflected the sun (God) is in an object (man), it can never come close to being the sun.

Miscellaneous Photographs
Portraits I truly enjoy portraiture in all mediums and aim to capture a personality or a candid moment, as opposed to a more traditional portrait.
